%20and%20the%20plants/seedlings%20are%20sitting%20outside.%20We're%20not%20exactly%20missing%20the%20great%20weather%20but%20the%20plants%20are%20still%20growing%20in%20their%20peat%20pots.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EToday%20I%20got%20in%20the%20blueberry%20bushes.%20The%20first%20bush%20I%20bought%20is%20really%20just%20a%20twig.%20We'll%20see%20if%20it%20takes.%20Worse%20case%20I'll%20have%20to%20buy%20a%20new%20one%20for%20next%20year.%20The%20other%20bush%20is%20really%20nice%20and%20should%20do%20okay.%20I%20also%20put%20in%20some%20lavender%20and%20rosemary%20back%20in%20that%20corner%20but%20I'll%20probably%20move%20the%20rosemary%20next%20spring%20when%20I%20clear%20out%20behind%20my%20shed%20for%20a%20herb%20garden.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20also%20put%20in%20the%20final%20rows%20of%20beets%20and%20onions.%20That%20space%20if%20finally%20full.%20I%20have%20some%20beets%20and%20onions%20spouting%20out%20of%20the%20first%202%20plantings.%20My%20garlic%20is%20doing%20awesome.%20It%20loves%20the%20chilly%20weather%20so%20it's%20been%20perfect%20lately.%20I%20also%20have%207%20potato%20plants%20with%20leaves%20up%20through%20the%20soil.%20I've%20been%20mounding%20the%20soil%20around%20the%20leaves%20and%20only%20had%20to%20re-bury%203%20potatoes.%20The%20space%20is%20on%20a%20bit%20of%20a%20slope%20so%20I've%20had%20some%20erosion%20but%20hopefully%20as%20the%20leaves%20come%20in%20that%20will%20stop.%20I'm%20keeping%20an%20close%20eye%20to%20ensure%20we%20have%20no%20potatoes%20enjoying%20the%20sunshine%20(and%20getting%20toxic%20green%20bits)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20a%20couple%20more%20flower%20pots%20to%20do,%20just%20small%20ones%20with%20some%20leftover%20annuals%20I%20picked%20up%20to%20do%20the%20railing%20containers.%20I'm%20also%20going%20to%20do%202%20pots%20of%20tomatoes%20since%20I%20have%20so%20many%20healthy%20seedlings.%20Then%20that%20will%20be%20it%20until%20later%20in%20the%20summer%20when%20I'll%20plant%20some%20spinach.%20The%20weeds%20are%20trying%20to%20beat%20me%20down%20but%20I%20won't%20let%20them!%20On%20a%20side%20note,%20I%20dug%20up%20the%20bottom%20of%20a%20fence%20post%20today%20while%20clearing%20out%20the%20space%20for%20the%20tomatoes.%20I%20didn't%20even%20know%20it%20was%20there!!%20There%20was%20no%20decay%20or%20breakdown%20of%20the%20wood...%20makes%20me%20wonder%20how%20much%20chemicals%20were%20in%20the%20wood%20to%20prevent%20it%20from%20decaying%20while%20sitting%20it%20wet%20mud...%20And%20that's%20where%20I'm%20putting%20tomatoes%20to%20eat.%20Well%20that's%20going%20to%20bother%20me%20for%20a%20bit.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20a%20pair%20of%20knee%20pads%20that%20you%20velcro%20on%20to%20your%20legs.%20I've%20always%20hated%20them%20because%20the%20velcro%20in%20the%20back%20digs%20in%20when%20I%20bend.%20While%20drying%20off%20after%20my%20shower%20it%20dawned%20me%20that%20I%20could%20just%20turn%20around%20the%20velcro,%20have%20it%20in%20the%20front%20of%20the%20knee%20so%20it%20won't%20dig%20in%20also%20it%20will%20be%20on%20the%20outside%20of%20the%20pad%20and%20won't%20be%20anywhere%20near%20my%20skin.%20Brilliant.%20I've%20had%20those%20pads%20for%20years%20and%20am%20just%20now%20realizing%20this.%20Good%20gravy%20I'm%20quick!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
