Garlic Chicken With Pasta

Ingredientes

  • 4 ounce Corkscrew Macaroni
  • 3/4 lb Chicken Breast Halves, bones and skinless
  • 2/3 c. Chicken Broth
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper Nonstick Spray Coating
  • 1/2 c. Minced Onion
  • 2 x Garlic Cloves, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Dry Oregano, crushed
  • 1/4 tsp Dry Thyme, crushed
  • 1 c. Sliced Fresh Mushrooms
  • 1 c. Halved Zucchini slices
  • 2 tsp Veg. oil
  • 1/2 c. Minced Tomato

Direcciones

  1. NOTE: Simplify last-minute preparation by cutting up the chicken and vegetables the night before.
  2. Cook pasta according to package directions, EXCEPT omit oil. Drain well.
  3. Meanwhile, rinse chicken; pat dry. Cut chicken into 3/4-inch pcs. For sauce, stir together chicken broth, cornstarch, salt, and pepper; set aside.
  4. Spray a Cool wok or possibly large skillet with non-stick coating. Preheat wok or possibly skillet over medium heat. Add in onion, garlic, oregano, and thyme; stir-fry for 2 min. Add in mushrooms and zucchini; stir-fry for 2 to 3 min more or possibly until vegetables are crisp-tender. Remove vegetables.
  5. Add in oil to wok or possibly skillet. Then, add in chicken; stir-fry for 3 to 4 min or possibly until tender and no longer pink. Stir sauce, add in to wok or possibly skillet. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook for 2 min more. Stir in tomato, vegetable mix, and pasta. Cook until heated through.
  6. Makes 4 (1 1/3-c.) servings. One serving equals 2 1/2 Lean Meat
  7. NOW THIS IS HOW "I" MADE IT: I used the multi flavored corkscrew macaroni...already cooked, diced chicken...bouillon cube and water....(since I used the bouillon, I did not add in the salt)...did not have zucchini so I used broccoli.
