Ingredientes

  • 3 c. Whole Lowfat milk
  • 1/4 tsp Fresh Minced Garlic
  • 1 x Vanilla bean, split in half
  • 1 c. Heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 9 x Egg Yolks

Direcciones

  1. Put lowfat milk, garlic, and vanilla in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl blend cream, sugar, and egg yolks. Strain the scalded lowfat milk mix into the egg and sugar mix, stirring constantly.
  3. Return the combined mix to the pan and stir continuously over moderate heat till it coats the back of a spoon, 10-15 min. Cold in an ice bath.
  4. Freeze till hard.
