Gatang Yapyap (Tiny Shrimp)

This is a local appetizer which we cook in our home. The kids enjoy eating it as is.

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 kilo Yapyap (Tiny shrimp)
  • 1 cup Coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup Coconut cream
  • salt and pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Clean the raw shrimp and cut most of the shrimp antennae
  2. Put in a hot pan, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the coconut milk and bring into a boil.
  4. Once the shrimp turned pink, start stirring.
  5. Let it simmer to lessen the coconut milk
  6. Add the coconut cream and let it dry all up while stirring to avoid sticking to the pan.
  7. Turn off heat, transfer to a platter and serve.
