Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 tsp cornstarch
  • 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1/4 c. corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. evaporated skim lowfat milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. coconut shredded
  • 2/3 c. minced pecans toasted

Direcciones

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, butter, corn syrup, lowfat milk and vanilla, and cook over medium heat till bubbling. Add in coconut and nuts,cold slightly and spread proportionately over cake.
  2. Makes sufficient to ice a 15x12x2-inch cake.
