Receta German Chocolate Caramel Bars

- Preheat oven to 350 . Combine caramels and 1/2 c. lowfat milk and heat in a double boiler. Set aside. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan. In a large bowl combine cake mix, melted butter, 1/3 c. lowfat milk and nuts. Press half of this mix into bottom of pan. Bake for 8 min. Remove from oven.
- Immediately sprinkle chocolate pcs on top. Next, spread caramel mix over chocolate pcs. Crumble remaining cake mix over caramel layer.
- Return to oven and bake for 20 min. Cold slightly and chill for 1 hour. Cut into bars. These may be frzn.
- Yield: 20 bars.
