Receta Ghost Cupcakes
by Erin S

Can you believe that Halloween is just a few short weeks away? I know people say it all the time, but I seriously can not believe how fast time goes by. Do you have Halloween costumes picked out? Are you ready? My son decided to go as one of his favorite football players this year. He already had the jersey, so I found a helmet, and I am modifying a pair of his baseball pants to have the right color stripe down the side. Pretty easy as far as costumes go.

I didn’t even use a special piping tip for this. I just put the frosting in a sturdy zip-lock bag. Then I cut about 1/2 an inch from one of the corners. This piped out a perfect circle, that I swirled around to add height for the ghosts. My father-in-law was pretty much in heaven with these cupcakes. He and my husband have the same love of frosting. Similar to why my husband eats a salad is for the dressing. I am pretty sure the reason he eats cake is for the frosting.

Ghost Cupcakes

Serves: 12

Fun cupcakes piled high with vanilla frosting to look like ghost.

Instructions

Fill a zip lock bag with frosting. Cut about ½ an inch off the corner. Squeeze frosting onto cupcake, going in a circular motion.

Once to the height you want, use the black icing to draw on eyes and a mouth.
