Ingredientes

  • 24 whl giant shells
  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 x 10 ounce pkg
  • 1 sm Onion -- chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter -- melted
  • 1 lb Cottage cheese
  • 1 x Egg -- beaten
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 30 ounce Tomato sauce
  • 1 c. Mozzarella cheese -- Shredded Frzn spinach -- minced

Direcciones

  1. Cook shells in boiling, salted water for 9 min, drain. Gently toss shells in oil and reserve. Thaw spinach and drain, squeezing out all water.
  2. Saute/fry onion in butter till soft. Stir in spinach. Remove to a bowl. Add in cottage cheese, egg, onion, salt and pepper. Fill each shell with mix.
  3. Pour half of sauce into a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Arrange stuffed shells in dish and cover with remaining sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
  4. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese and return to oven till cheese is melted and bubbly, about 3 min.
