Ingredientes

  • 1/2 lb Dry ginger (pounded green ginger)
  • 1 gal Water
  • 1/2 x Lime Few cloves
  • 3 lb Sugar
  • 1/4 pt Rice (white)

Direcciones

  1. Put all ingredients into a clean jar.
  2. Stir till sugar is dissolved.
  3. Cover jar and leave for two days.
  4. On third day strain through a thin muslin, and bottle.
  5. Serve with cracked ice. N.B. If only a mild flavour is required, lessen the amount of ginger.
