Ginger Sesame Chicken Stir Fry

Ingredientes

  • 1 pkt (1.61-oz) brown gravy mix 1 3/4 c. water, divided
  • 1 Tbsp. Honey
  • 4 x Skinned and boned chicken breast halves, cut into strips
  • 2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil, divided
  • 2 x Garlic cloves, pressed
  • 2 tsp Grated fresh ginger
  • 2 x Green onions, cut into thin strips
  • 2 x Celery stalks, cut into thin strips
  • 2 x Carrots, cut into thin strips
  • 1 c. Sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 pkt (6-oz) frzn snow pea pods, thawed (optional)
  • 1/4 c. Dry sherry or possibly chicken broth
  • 12 ounce Penne pasta, cooked
  • 2 Tbsp. Sesame seeds, toasted

Direcciones

  1. Whisk together gravy mix, 1/2 c. water, and honey till smooth; set aside.
  2. Stir-fry chicken strips in 1 Tbsp. warm oil in a large skillet 3 to 5 min or possibly till done. Remove from skillet, and keep hot. Stir-fry garlic and ginger in remaining 1 Tbsp. oil in skillet 1 minute. Add in green onions, celery, and carrot, and stir-fry 2 min. Add in mushrooms, and stir-fry 2 min or possibly till vegetables are crisp-tender. Stir in chicken.
  3. Pour remaining 1-1/4 c. water and sherry over chicken mix. Bring to a boil, stirring often. Add in gravy mix; cook, stirring constantly, till mix boils and thickens. Serve over pasta, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
