Ingredientes

  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 piece fresh ginger root - (2" long) peeled
  • 4 c. fresh fruit chunks - (to 6)

Direcciones

  1. Bring sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan over moderate heat. Add in ginger and reduce heat to simmer. Stir till sugar dissolves and ginger infuses syrup, about 2 min.
  2. Remove from heat and take out ginger. Cold and pour over chunks of pineapple, sliced kiwi, sliced bananas, or possibly any of your favorite fruit combinations.
  3. This recipe yields 3/4 c. syrup.
  4. Yield: 3/4 c.
