Receta Glazed Carrots Asian Style

Ingredientes
- 6 lrg carrots peeled, and sliced in half lengthwise
- 3 Tbsp. lite soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 2 x garlic cloves chopped
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp chopped ginger
- 1/4 tsp Chinese five-spice pwdr
Direcciones
- In a large pot of boiling water, add in the carrots and parboil for 5 min. Drain and rinse with cool water.
- In a large glass dish, combine the remaining ingredients. Add in the carrots and marinate for 30 min.
- Prepare an outdoor grill with an oiled rack set 4 inches from the heat source. Using a oiled wire hinged vegetable basket (or possibly just directly on the rack whichever you find easier), grill the carrots, turning constantly for a total of 10 min, till slightly charred.
- This recipe yields 6 servings.
- Serving size: 1 large carrot.
- Comments: This method of preparing carrots will have us all eating like Bugs Bunny!
