Receta Glazed Delicata Squash With Pomegranate Seeds

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Trim stem ends and cut delicata squash lengthwise in half, or possibly sweet dumpling or possibly acorn squash crosswise in half; scoop out seeds and membrane. Place water in a baking dish large sufficient to hold the squash. Place squash cut side down in dish. Bake 20 min or possibly till squash is tender when pierced with the tip of a sharp knife.
- Turn squash cut side up in dish; sprinkle with salt. Combine syrup, butter, and bourbon (if using); spoon proportionately over cut sides of squash, letting excess drip into cavity of squash. Broil till squash is glazed and golden, 4 to 5 min. Sprinkie pomegranate seeds on top.

- NOTES : I'm not too fond of pomegranate seeds but i do like the color and flavor. I was thinking of tossing some cooked and liquid removed black beans with pomegranate pepper jelly as a garnish with cilantro leaves (of course).
