.%20%20I%20had%20to%20try%20it%20out%20gluten%20free%20~%20I%20could%20almost%20hear%20it%20calling%20me.....%20;-)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20found%20a%20few%20recipes%20to%20try%20online%20but%20was%20running%20into%20a%20few%20problems%20with%20the%20recipes.%20%20%20The%20old%20Gluten%20Free%20bread%20collapse%20thing%20reared%20its%20ugly%20head.%20%20The%20flavor%20was%20very%20good.%20%20Well,%20good%20as%20I%20ever%20had%20it%20since%20going%20gluten%20free%20anyway.%20%20It%20just%20needed%20to%20be%20worked%20on%20a%20bit.%20%20I%20added%20more%20flour,%20more%20cheese%20some%20spices......a%20little%20of%20this%20and%20a%20little%20of%20that.....until%20I%20finally%20got%20right.%20%20This%20is%20the%20recipe%20I%20want%20to%20share%20with%20you%20and%20all%20my%20friends%20looking%20for%20a%20great%20dinner%20roll%20/%20biscuit.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20intended%20to%20be%20a%20drop%20biscuit%20recipe%20but%20it%20ended%20up%20being%20more%20like%20a%20roll.%20%20I%20guess%20that%20is%20what%20happens%20when%20you%20mess%20around%20with%20recipes%20~%20LOL.%20Im%20sure%20it%20would%20make%20nice%20biscuits%20if%20you%20%22gently%22%20roll%20out%20the%20dough%20being%20careful%20not%20to%20over%20work%20the%20batter%20and%20cut%20it%20out.%20%20I%20am%20usually%20making%20this%20for%20dinner%20and%20in%20a%20mad%20rush%20to%20go%20though%20all%20that%20trouble!%20%20;-)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20food%20processor%20Add%20Tapioca,%20Brown%20Rice%20Flour,%20Potato%20Starch,%20Salt,%20Baking%20Powder%20and%20Xanthan%20Gum.%20%20Blend%20for%20a%20few%20seconds%20to%20fully%20blend%20the%20dry%20ingredients.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECut%20in%20butter%20and%20shortening%20and%20pulse%20a%20few%20times%20until%20butter%20and%20shortening%20start%20to%20develop%20into%20pea%20sized%20bits.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20milk,%20egg%20and%20cheese%20and%20process%20until%20the%20batter%20forms%20into%20a%20ball.%20%20Batter%20will%20not%20be%20sticky%20and%20you%20should%20be%20able%20to%20roll%20it%20between%20your%20hands%20without%20sticking.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EScoop%20out%20an%20ice%20cream%20scoops%20worth%20of%20dough%20(about%201/4%20cup)%20and%20gently%20roll%20into%20a%20ball%20with%20your%20hands.%20%20Place%20on%20cookie%20sheet%20and%20press%20down%20slightly.%20%20Biscuit%20will%20be%20about%20slightly%20less%20than%203/4's%20to%201%22%20thick.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%2015%20minutes,%20take%20out%20of%20the%20oven%20and%20brush%20tops%20with%20melted%20butter/garlic%20mixture.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EContinue%20to%20bake%20for%203%20more%20minutes%20or%20until%20ever%20so%20lightly%20browned.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECheck%20out%20these%20other%20great%20recipes%20on%20the%20web:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELife%20as%20a%20Plate%20has%20a%20Grain-Free%20version%20of%20this%20classic%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20the%20Robyn%20Ryberg%20version%20at%20Celiac.com%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
