Receta Gluten Free Peanut Butter Cup Cookie Pizza
This post is brought to you on behalf of Pillsbury
I don’t often make things that are gluten free around here. We are very fortunate to not have gluten or other food allergies in my family. But I do have a very close friend who is gluten intolerant. I always struggle with what to make that she can enjoy too. All the gluten free flours out there are just over whelming to me. So I am grateful that Pillsbury now has a line of gluten free doughs. Pizza Dough, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and a Pie Crust. Just in time for the holidays too, so I can bring this pizza to my friend when we meet for lunch today!
In case you hadn’t noticed I am all about fudgy, gooey, chocolate-y treats. And if they have peanut butter that is even better. That is really hard to do when you are trying to go gluten free. At least for me; I am a gluten free novice. I was super excited to use the Pillsbury Cookie Dough to see what I could come up with. I will be honest, I was a little bit skeptical that it would not turn out like a dessert made with flour. But I was wrong. My family had no idea this cookie was gluten free.
I made a very simple dessert that would be great for your holiday parties. I baked an entire tub of the cookie dough in a spring form pan. As soon as it came out of the oven, I sprinkled with with chopped gluten free peanut butter cups. Some of them melted right into the cookie…so good! I then topped with festive candy coated chocolates. Definitely doesn’t have to be red and green if you want to make this for a different day of the week. This is great served warm, but it is a little messy with all of the melted chocolate. For other great idea, be sure to check out the Gluten Free Pillsbury Pinterest Page.
