Ingredientes

  • 1 quart Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Tbsp. Confectioner's Sugar
  • 1/3 c. Godiva Liqueur
  • 3 lrg Egg Yolks Beaten
  • 3/4 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1 lb Semisweet Chocolate
  • 1/3 c. Godiva Liqueur
  • 2 Tbsp. Instant Espresso Granules
  • 2 tsp Cinnamon Divided Whipped Cream Shaved Chocolate

Direcciones

  1. For the whipped cream, combine the heavy cream, vanilla extract, confectioner's sugar and Godiva Liqueur in a mixer and whip till stiff; chill. Beat the egg yolks till pale yellow and set aside.
  2. For the syrup, combine the sugar and water in a small pot and cook to 248 degrees. Pour the warm syrup steadily into the egg yolks and beat till cold; set aside.
  3. In a double boiler, heat the chocolate; cold slightly. Quickly fold 1/2 of the reserved whipped cream into the chocolate and add in it to the reserved egg yolks with the Godiva Liqueur, espresso granules, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and the remaining whipped cream; beat till smooth. Fill eight 8-ounce. wine or possibly other stemmed glasses with the mousse, cover and chill for at least 2 hrs.
  4. To serve, garnish with whipped cream, shaved chocolate and the remaining cinnamon.
