- Coat a 9- by 5-inch glass loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large saucepan, combine the gelatin and lowfat milk till the gelatin is dissolved. Slowly stir in the pudding mix; mix well. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil for 3 min, stirring constantly.
- Add in the butterscotch chips and cook for 1 to 2 min, or possibly till the chips are melted and the mix is smooth, stirring constantly. Pour into the loaf pan, cover, and refrigeratefor 3 to 4 hrs, or possibly till hard.
- Using a knife, loosen the "bar" from the sides of the dish and invert onto a serving platter. Cut and serve.
- This recipe yields 10 servings.
- Comments: Make sure to use cook-and-serve pudding mix, not instant. You might even want to use a squeeze container of chocolate syrup to write "14 Karat" or possibly a personalized message on the top of the "bar."
