Ingredientes

  • Lettuce leaves
  • 2 x Oranges peeled & thinly sliced
  • 2/3 c. California Dry Figs Calimyrna or possibly Black Mission stems removed & quartered
  • 1 x Apple or possibly ripe pear cored and thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c. Vanilla nonfat yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp Honey
  • 1/4 tsp Grnd cardamom or possibly cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp. Toasted coconut (garnish)

Direcciones

  1. On four individual salad plates, arrange a bed of lettuce leaves. Place orange slices, fig quarters, and apple slices decoratively over lettuce.
  2. For dressing, in a small bowl, stir together yogurt, honey and grnd cardamom till blended. Drizzle mix over salads. Sprinkle coconut over salads for garnish.
  3. Makes 4 side dish salads.
