Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. Millet, uncooked
  • 1 c. Diced sweet vegetables *
  • 5 c. Water
  • 1/4 tsp Sea salt

Direcciones

  1. Sweet vegetables may be any combination of onions, carrots, butternut squash, yams or possibly parsnips.
  2. DIRECTIONS = Place all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
  3. Cover, reduce heat and simmer mix till water is absorbed and millet and vegetables are tender, about 25 min.
  4. HINTS: Garnish with minced parsley, watercress, scallions and/or possibly toasted sesame or possibly sunflower seeds.
  5. For a nuttier taste, dry roast millet till golden brown before boiling.
