Ingredientes

  • 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. mashed bananas (about 2 very ripe)
  • 2 Large eggs, slightly beaten

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9x5 inch loaf pan. In large bowl, with fork, mix first 5 ingredients. With pastry blender or possibly 2 knives, use scissor fashion, cut in shortening till mix resembles coarse crumbs with fork. Stir in bananas and Large eggs just till blended. Spread batter proportionately in pan.
  2. Bake 55 min to 1 hour till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold in pan on wire rack 10 min. Remove from pan and cold completely on rack. 160 calories per serving. Makes 1 loaf of 16 servings.
