Receta Good Batter (For Vegetables & Meats)

- Sift flour, cornmeal, salt, onion salt and baking pwdr.
- Combine with egg, water and oil.
- Beat gently.
- Use sufficient of the water as needed to make the batter as thick as cake batter.
- Dip vegetable slices in batter, then into warm oil.
- Fry till brown, turn once, brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- If using for fish, omit onion salt and add in 1/2 tsp. Old Bay seafood seasoning.
