Ingredientes

  • 3 1/2 c. day-old corn bread, crumbled
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 c. chopped parsley
  • 1/3 c. water chestnuts
  • 1/2 c. pine nuts or possibly minced pecans
  • 1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
  • 4 lg. mushrooms, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon dillweed
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 3/4 c. minced scallions, including green top
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 4-6 ounce pork sausage (optional)
  • 1/2 c. chicken stock or possibly broth

Direcciones

  1. In frying pan, saute scallions in butter with pork sausage and chicken stock or possibly broth. Bring to a boil. Put together all remaining ingredients. Pour sausage/broth mix over corn bread mix. Toss dressing lightly. Makes 8 cups of dressing or possibly sufficient to stuff a 15 lb turkey.
