Ingredientes

  • 1 quart. buttermilk or possibly any sour lowfat milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon soda
  • 2 tbsp. melted shortening
  • 4 c. whole wheat flour
  • Sufficient white flour to make moderately stiff dough

Direcciones

  1. Pour into bread pans and let stand 1 hour. Bake 50 to 60 min in 350 degree oven. Raisins or possibly nutmeats may be added, if you like.
