Grammy's Oil Pastry (from Betty Crocker)

My recipe seems to be a bit modified from others I see on-line. The quantities I use are for a double crust, but for me, it's always been the perfect amount to make just one crust, plus a little extra. Grammy always used the extra to make cinnamon crust rolls for us kids upon arrival (dough with butter, cinnamon and sugar)

Ingredientes

  • 1-3/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons cold water

Direcciones

  1. Mix four and salt.
  2. Add vegetable oil. Mix with a fork until it looks like meal.
  3. Sprinkle with cold water. Mix with a fork.
  4. Gather into a ball. Place between wax paper. Roll with a rolling pan into a circle (now a days, we just roll it between two thin plastic cutting boards).
