Traditional cookies of my country. It's my grandmother's recipe.

Ingredientes

  • 250 grams of butter (room temperature)
  • 1.5 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ammonia
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 / 4 cup orange juice
  • chopped zest of one orange
  • 1 kilo of flour
  • 4 eggs (separate the yolks from the whites)

Direcciones

  1. Beat the butter with the sugar in a bowl for at least 5 minutes.
  2. Add the egg yolks and beat them for a while.
  3. Beat the egg whites until a thick meringue, which you add to the first bowl.
  4. Add all the ingredients (the flour at the end) until the dough is smooth and homogeneous. Make your cookies, giving them the shape you want. Put them in a baking dish and spread a little milk on them. Put them in the oven already hot (180 degrees) for about 30 minutes.
