Ingredientes

  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 5 x Large eggs, separated
  • 1/2 lb Butter, melted
  • 1 c. Flour
  • 1 x Orange, juice and grated rind of
  • 4 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 2 c. Water
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 2 x Jiggers orange curacao, Or possibly
  • 2 tsp Orange extract

Direcciones

  1. Beat sugar and egg yolks well. Stir in melted butter, the rind and juice of orange, flour and baking pwdr. Carefully mix in egg whites, stiffly beaten. Pour into a buttered 8x10 or possibly 9x9" baking pan. Bake at 375 F. for 10 min; lower oven temperature to 350 F. and bake for 30 mins. longer or possibly till cake tests done. Cold. Pour warm syrup over the cake. Cut into squares or possibly diamon-shaped pcs. Syrup: Combine water and sugar; bring to a boil and simmer for 10 min. Add in orange curacao or possibly orange extract.
