Greek Turkey Tenderloins

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. plain yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh parsley Or possibly
  • 2 tsp dry parsley flakes
  • 2 Tbsp. minced fresh oregano Or possibly
  • 2 tsp dry oregano leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 x clove garlic -- finely minced
  • 2 x (3/4 lb.) turkey breast tenderloins Lemon slices -- if you like Parsley sprigs -- if you like

Direcciones

  1. Mix all ingredients except turkey, lemon slices and parsley in shallow nonmetal dish or possibly resealable plastic bag. Add in turkey, turning to coat with marinade. Cover dish or possibly seal bag and chill at least 8 hrs but no longer than 24 hrs.
  2. Brush grill rack with vegetable oil. Heat coals or possibly gas grill for direct heat.
  3. Remove turkey from marinade; reserve marinade. Cover and grill turkey 4 to 5 inches from MEDIUM heat 25 to 30 min, brushing occasionally with marinade and turning after 15 min, till juice is no longer pink when center of thickest piece is cut. Throw away any remaining marinade. Remove turkey from grill; let stand 10 min before cutting.
  4. To serve, cut turkey diagonally into 1/2 inch slices. Garnish with lemon slices and parsley if you like.
  5. Yield: 6 servings.
