Green Beans In Beer Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb Green beans
  • 1/2 c. Beer
  • 1/2 c. Butter
  • 1/4 c. White vinegar
  • 1/4 c. Brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. Onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1/2 lb Crisp bacon, crumbled Salt and pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Wash beans and slice on the diagonal into 1 inch pcs. Place in saucepan with beer and butter. Cook over low heat till crisp tender, about 15 min. Remove beans with a slotted spoon and set aside. Combine vinegar, sugar, onion and cornstarch. Stir in liquid and cook till thickened. Thin with a little beer if necessary. Gently mix in beans, sprinkle with bacon and serve.
