Receta Green Mint Coffee Choco Chip Smoothie
I love the flavor of coffee, chocolate and mint, so why not put them all together in a smoothie? Oh yeah! Delightful! I happen to have fresh mint growing all over my garden, so why not use it? Just a touch of mint adds a remarkable, light tone to this fabulous breakfast!
Green Mint Coffee Choco Chip Smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1 young Thai Coconut - water and meat
- 1 1/2 bananas (preferably frozen)
- 5 curly kale leaves
- 2 teaspoons spirulina powder (optional)
- 2 Tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 Tablespoon hemp seeds
- 2 Tablespoons cacao powder
- 2 Tablespoons cacao nibs
- 2 medjool dates
- 5 drops Medicine Flower Coffee Extract (optional)
- fresh peppermint leaves (to taste) - and/or 1 drop Medicine Flower Mint extract

Directions:
1. Blend coconut meat and water with kale and bananas.

2. Add remaining ingredients and blend until creamy.
3. Substitution: peppermint essential oil may be used in small quantities as well if you don't have fresh mint.
4. Garnish with extra cacao nibs, if desired.
