Grilled Baby Octopus (Jjukkumi)

Ingredientes

  • 2 lb baby octopus - (16 to 25 pcs) fresh or possibly thawed Salt to taste
  • 1/2 x onion chopped
  • 1/2 x red bell pepper chopped
  • 3 x garlic cloves - (to 4) chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Korean sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Korean red chile pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper

Direcciones

  1. Clean octopus. Sprinkle octopus with salt to taste and rub on for about a minute. Rinse in cool water. Drain. Repeat. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Combine onion, bell pepper, garlic, soy sauce, oil, chile pwdr and pepper in bowl. Coat octopus generously with seasoning. Grill over medium-high heat, moving around grill so octopus cooks proportionately, 3 to 4 min.
  3. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
