Ingredientes

  • 5 x boneless skinless chicken breasts pounded 1/4" thick
  • 1 can Dole Pineapple Slices - (20 ounce) well liquid removed
  • 3/4 c. fat-free or possibly low-fat Caesar salad dressing divided
  • 15 whl wheat or possibly whole grain bread slices toasted
  • 10 x Dole Green Leaf Lettuce leaves
  • 1/2 c. thinly-sliced red onion
  • 10 x low-fat turkey bacon slices cooked, liquid removed

Direcciones

  1. Place chicken and pineapple on grill or possibly broiler pan. Brush with 2 Tbsp. dressing. Grill or possibly broil chicken and pineapple, 5 min. Turn chicken and pineapple over; brush with 2 more Tbsp. dressing. Cook 5 - 10 min more or possibly till chicken is no longer pink in center and pineapple is golden.
  2. Spread remaining 1/2 c. dressing proportionately over bread slices. For each sandwich, layer one bread slice with lettuce leaf, chicken breast, red onions, bread slice, 2 pineapple slices, 2 bacon strips, lettuce leaf and bread slice. Repeat with remaining sandwiches.
  3. Cut sandwiches into half. Insert toothpick into each half.
  4. This recipe yields 5 servings.
  5. Comments: To lb. chicken, place chicken between two pcs of wax paper or possibly plastic wrap. Using a meat mallet or possibly rolling pin, lb. meat to about 1/4-inch thickness.
