Receta Grilled Fig And Herbed Cheese Crostini

- Heat an outdoor grill to medium, or possibly heat a well-seasoned grill pan over medium heat.
- Lightly spray the cut surface of the figs with cooking spray. Place the figs on the grill, and cook till browned on both sides, 2 to 3 min a side. Place the figs in a shallow dish and drizzle with the balsamic vinegar and lemon juice. Let the figs marinate while you prepare the remaining ingredients.
- Puree the cottage cheese in a food processor or possibly blender till smooth and light. Stir in 1 Tbsp. of the sage, the chives, salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Lightly spray both sides of the bread slices with cooking spray. Grill the slices on both sides till golden, 2 to 4 min.
- Spoon about 1 Tbsp. of the cottage cheese mix on each slice of bread, spreading to the edges. Top each slice with a grilled fig and sprinkle with the remaining sage.
- This recipe yields 12 slices.
