Grilled London Broil

Ingredientes

  • 1/4 c. red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 2 x garlic cloves sliced
  • 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 2 lb top round steak
  • 1/4 tsp salt (optional) Serrano chile pepper halves for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a large shallow dish or possibly zip-top plastic bag; add in steak turning to coat. Cover or possibly seal, and chill steak mix 12 hrs, turning occasionally.
  2. Remove steak from marinade, reserving marinade. Bring marinade to a full rolling boil, and boil at least 1 minute.
  3. Grill steak, covered with grill lid, over medium-warm coals (350 to 400 degrees) 8 to 10 min on each side or possibly to desired degree of doneness, basting occasionally with marinade.
  4. Let stand 5 min; sprinkle with salt, and garnish, if you like. Cut steak into thin slices.
  5. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
  6. Comments: You may substitute London broil or possibly flank steak for top round. Tip: flank steak cooks faster.
