Receta Grilled Pork Chops Diablo
I know I have mentioned that pork is pretty inexpensive here.
Still, I don’t like paying for stuff I’m not going to eat.
Both pork and lamb chops tend to have a long ‘tail’ on them that is primarily fat with a little meat. Most people love it but I have never been a fan of fat (other than bacon).
And I don’t eat the bone.
And I like them thicker than the normal cuts here.
So I buy whole, boneless loin roasts and cut my own.
Add hot sauce to make this more ‘devilish’. We all know I have a wimpy, er, I mean, sensitive palate.

I haven’t posted any photos of the girls in awhile so here’s one.
They were having a relaxed afternoon on the grass, posing so nicely, until I got the camera out. Then they started the serious playing.
They still act like puppies most of the time.
Actually, Bonnie seems to be regressing.
When she was a little puppy, 4 or 5 months old, she would not eat her dog food when I fed them. Guapa is always starved and eats her dinner in about 5 seconds. Bonnie would taunt Guapa with her full bowl.
She just started doing it again.
The routine is the same: I feed them. They both start eating. Guapa finishes in seconds and runs to find me for a few minutes of petting. (Our routine since she was a puppy.)
Bonnie stops eating and chases after us, trying to play.
Guapa realizes that there is food in Bonnie’s dish, waits until Bonnie isn’t looking and races back into the house.
Bonnie realizes what Guapa is doing and races around to go in the other door, snarling and growling.
Guapa backs off.
Bonnie sits by her dish but doesn’t eat.
Guapa sits and watches Bonnie.
Guapa leaves; Bonnie follows and the whole routine starts again.
Eventually, I have to get involved…. Telling Bonnie to eat and Guapa to leave and standing there to make sure they behave..
Every night we do this.
It does make me wonder just who is training whom.
Dogs do keep life interesting!
