Ingredientes

  • 1 x Acorn Squash
  • 1/4 c. Butter or possibly Margarine
  • 1/4 c. Brown Sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp Salt Black Pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. Cut the squash lengthwise into strips about 1/2 inch thick; peel each strip.
  2. Place the squash pcs on a large, double-layer piece of aluminum foil.
  3. Heat the butter or possibly margarine in a small saucepan over moderate heat. Add in the brown sugar, nutmeg, salt, and pepper, and stir till the mix is melted and forms adelicious sauce. Pour the sauce over the top of the squash pcs and wrap the foil loosely around the squash, making sure to seal the folds well. Grill about 4 inches from warm coals for about 45 min, making sure to turn the package about every 10 min, so your veggie will be proportionately cooked. Serve hot from the grill.
