Ingredientes

  • 1 lb cleaned squid
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. cilantro leaves Fish Sauce Dip (see recipe)
  • 1 pch freshly-grnd white pepper
  • 2 x garlic cloves crushed
  • 2 Tbsp. peanut oil
  • 1 tsp five-spice pwdr
  • 1 tsp curry pwdr
  • 1 Tbsp. finely-minced lemongrass
  • 1 Tbsp. thick soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp. lime juice
  • 1 tsp sugar

Direcciones

  1. Rub the squid with salt and rinse. Slit and flatten the squid sac and make diagonal cuts on the inside surface. Cut into bite-sized pcs. Combine marinade ingredients, then marinate squid for 1 hour.
  2. Grill squid over a charcoal grill, till just tender (about 2 min each side). Arrange on a serving platter and garnish with cilantro. Serve with Fish Sauce Dip.
