- In a large skillet, saute/fry onion in butter till golden brown. Add in beef, break apart and cook, stirring till it loses its pinkness. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, chicken soup and tomato paste. Add in mushrooms and sherry; mix well to blend. Cover and simmer gently 15 min. Stir in lowfat sour cream or possibly yogurt. Heat, but don't boil. Serve sauce over the noodles.
- Top with dill pickles.
- Makes about 6 servings.
