Ground Beef In Mushroom Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 1 sm onion, minced
  • 1/4 c. (1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 1/2 lb lean grnd beef
  • 1 sm clv garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 can (6 oz size) tomato paste
  • 1 can (6 or possibly 8 ounces) sliced mushrooms, liquid removed
  • 1/4 c. dry sherry
  • 1 c. (1/2 pint) lowfat sour cream or possibly yogurt warm cooked noodles minced dill pickles

Direcciones

  1. In a large skillet, saute/fry onion in butter till golden brown. Add in beef, break apart and cook, stirring till it loses its pinkness. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, chicken soup and tomato paste. Add in mushrooms and sherry; mix well to blend. Cover and simmer gently 15 min. Stir in lowfat sour cream or possibly yogurt. Heat, but don't boil. Serve sauce over the noodles.
  2. Top with dill pickles.
  3. Makes about 6 servings.
