Receta Ground Beef Scramble
If you want something quick and easy that encompasses the protein and veggie food groups, this is the dish for you. It’s delicious and easy to eat, plus the leftovers go very well in sandwiches. Actually, this dish goes with just about anything . . . add some tomato sauce and it’s great on pasta, dump it on rice, stuff it in a hunk of bread . . . this is a very versatile recipe that will literally cook up in minutes.
Ground Beef Scramble
Serves 4
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 tin kidney beans
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 cup corn
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
Brown the beef in a frying pan with the onions for 5 min. Add corn, oregano and beans, as well as the green pepper. Let the mixture simmer for 10 min. stirring occasionally.
Serve hot with rice, or cold in a sandwich.
