Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. cilantro leaves
  • 2 x green onions cut 1" pcs
  • 1 x jalapeno pepper seeded, and coarsely minced
  • 1 can reduced-sodium chicken broth - (14 1/2 ounce)
  • 1/2 c. tomato juice
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 2 sm Hass avocados peeled, pitted, and coarsely minced Tabasco sauce (optional) Salt to taste

Direcciones

  1. In a food processor, pulse cilantro, green onions, and pepper till finely minced, scraping down sides of bowl as necessary.
  2. Add in chicken broth, tomato juice, lemon juice, and avocados. Process till smooth. Add in Tabasco and salt to taste. Chill 1 hour for flavors to blend. (May be made up to 8 hrs ahead.)
  3. This recipe yields 4 servings.
