Ingredientes

  • 2 tsp finely-minced seeded jalapeno peppers
  • 1 tsp coarse salt
  • 1 Tbsp. finely-chopped cilantro
  • 1 med ripe avocado peeled, cubed
  • 1 x hard plum tomato seeded, diced fine
  • 1 Tbsp. finely-chopped onion

Direcciones

  1. In a medium bowl, or possibly a molcajete (a mortar made of volcanic rock), mash jalapenos, salt, and cilantro with a pestle or possibly the back of a wooden spoon till it develops a paste-like texture.
  2. Gently fold in avocado, tomato, and onion. Add in more of desired ingredients, to taste. Serve immediately.
  3. This recipe yields 2 servings.
  4. Comments: To keep the guacamole from becoming too mushy, do not smash the avocado. Simply cut it into cubes, and mix with the other ingredients. To ensure a smooth texture, throw away the tomato seeds and juicy pulp.
