Receta Gulabi Gulkand Syrup
Ingredients:
- Red Rose Petals – 2 cups
- Honey – 50 gms
- Rock Candy – 250 gms
- Water – 150 ml
- Juice of 1/2 Lemon
- Pink Food Colour – 1 tsp
Method:
1. Grind the rose petals, honey and rock candy to a smooth paste, without adding water.
2. Transfer to a pan.
3. Pour water and place over medium flame for 2 minutes.
4. Remove and cool.
5. Add food colour, lemon juice and mix well.
6. Pour into clean, sterilized bottle and seal tightly.
7. To serve, for 1 part of the syrup add 3 parts of water or boiled and cooled milk.
