Halibut With Greek Style Garlic Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 6 x halibut steaks (4-6 ounce. each) thawed - if necessary salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
  • 1 c. plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1/4 c. toasted almonds minced
  • 3 Tbsp. nonfat mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. minced fresh oregano Or possibly 1 tsp dry oregano
  • 2 tsp minced parsley
  • 2 x cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice

Direcciones

  1. Season halibut with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle each steak with 1 tsp. parsley. Broil 10 min per inch of thickness, 4-6 inches from heat, or possibly till fish flakes when tested with a fork. Serve each halibut steak with a heaping spoonful of sauce.
  2. Makes 6 servings.
  3. Greek Style Garlic Sauce:Whisk together all ingredients till well combined.

  6. Note: tp defrost fish safely, place, covered in the refrigerator 8-10 hrs or possibly overnight or possibly in Microwave, as pkg. directs. The Greek-style sauce is a Low fat version of Skordalia, the pungent Greek garlic mayonnaise, but this one uses Low-fat yogurt.
  7. NOTES : I am sending this recipe to several lists. It contains an address to send for a fish recipe brochure which sounded interesting. The recipe sounds delicious.
