Ingredientes

  • 1 lb Frzn bread dough, thawed and risen
  • 1/2 c. Minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter
  • 12 ounce Ham, cut in strips
  • 8 ounce Ricotta cheese
  • 6 ounce Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced fresh parsley

Direcciones

  1. In a small skillet, saute/fry onion in butter till tender. In medium bowl, combine all filling ingredients.
  2. On lightly floured surface, roll dough into 15x10-inch rectangle. Spread filling in a 4-inch strip lengthwise down center of dough. Fold long sides of dough over filling; healthy pinch edges together to seal. Place seam side down on cookie sheet, tucking ends under. Cut slits on top.
  3. Bake at 375 F for 20-25 min or possibly till golden. Let stand 10 min before serving. Cut into slices.
  4. NOTES : I also have made this with Italian sausage instead of ham and mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar.
