Hardees Biscuits

If you don't like to use shortening, you can use butter, but this will change the flavor and texture.

Ingredientes

  • 4 c. Martha White self-rising flour
  • 1 T baking powder
  • 1 T sugar
  • 3/4 c. Crisco
  • 2 c buttermilk

Direcciones

  1. Sift together flour, baking powder and sugar.
  2. Add in Crisco and mix until flaky.
  3. Add in buttermilk. Mix will be sticky.
  4. Turn on lightly floured board and knead 10 times.
  5. Roll and cut biscuits 1" thick.
  6. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 min.
