- Fry bacon till crisp. Saute/fry onion in bacon drippings. Add in sugar, flour, salt and pepper. Blend well. Cook till smooth and bubbly, stirring constantly.
- Gradually add in water and vinegar. Cook till mix boils and thickens. Pour over potatoes, crumble bacon over top. Serve hot. Serves 8.
