Receta Hazelnut Shortbread

- In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the syrup and vanillla
- Add the flour
- Mix just until combined
- Fold in the nuts
- Shape into two 1 1/2 inch rolls
- Wrap each in plastic wrap
- Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm
- Unwrap the dough
- Cut into 1/4 inch slices
- Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets
- Bake at 325 F for 14-16 minutes or until the edges begin to brown
- Remove to wire racks to cool completely
- Melt the chocolate chips
- Drizzle over the cookies
- Let stand until the chocolate is set
