- Heat lowfat milk, butter, salt and 6 Tbsp. sugar together. To scald cook to lukewarm. Mix together hot water, 1 Tbsp. sugar and yeast.
- Allow to proof. Add in yeast and lowfat milk in a large bowl. Mix grains adding sufficient white flour to make smooth dough.
- Knead 10 to 15 min. Let rise till double in greased bowl. Punch down shape into loaves. Let rise again till nearly doubled. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
