- Wash apples; don't peel; cut into quarters; core and dice. Place in a bowl and add in the crushed pineapple and juice to keep apples from turning brown while preparing other ingredients. Toss often. Add in celery, carrot, cabbage, raisins and healthy pinch of salt. Add in salad dressing and toss all together. Add in sugar to desired sweetness. Refrigerateand toss before serving. Serves 4-6.
