%20Over%20time,%20've%20come%20to%20expect%20a%20lot%20from%20the%20Healthy%20Choice%20meals%20that%20I%20try.%20The%20brand%20is%20usually%20pretty%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20then%20there's%20Healthy%20Choice%20Pineapple%20Chicken.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20was%20one%20of%20my%20least%20favorite%20Healthy%20Choice%20meals%20to%20date,%20and%20it's%20very%20much%20due%20to%20the%20chicken%20and%20the%20sauce.%20As%20usual,%20the%20rice%20and%20veggies%20are%20done%20to%20perfection:%20slightly%20crisp%20red%20bell%20peppers%20that%20overflow%20with%20flavor,%20carrots%20that%20are%20done%20so%20that%20they%20don't%20turn%20to%20mush,%20and%20rice%20that's%20not%20tough%20or%20mushy,%20but%20just%20right.%20The%20pineapple%20is%20fairly%20standard%20processed%20pineapple%20chunks,%20so%20I%20don't%20really%20have%20an%20opinion%20there.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20the%20chicken%20is%20just%20like%20those%20chicken%20tenders%20that%20you%20get%20at%20the%20Chinese%20fast%20food%20place%20up%20the%20street%20-%20you%20know,%20the%20ones%20where%20it's%20mostly%20batter%20and%20just%20the%20slightest%20hint%20of%20chicken%20within?%20Think%20of%20those%20with%20none%20of%20the%20grease,%20but%20all%20of%20the%20cardboardy%20flavor%20of%20the%20Chinese%20fast%20food%20kind,%20and%20that's%20what%20you%20get%20in%20this%20Healthy%20Choice%20meal.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20the%20sauce%20is%20the%20worst%20part%20yet.%20The%20package%20said%20that%20it%20was%20in%20a%20%22sweet%22%20sauce,%20and%20boy,%20that%20box%20wasn't%20kidding.%20Sweet%20notes%20-%20honey,%20pineapple%20juice,%20sugar%20-%20overpower%20everything%20in%20this%20meal.%20The%20ingredients%20say%20that%20there's%20supposed%20to%20be%20ginger%20in%20here,%20but%20I%20can't%20taste%20it%20over%20the%20syrupy%20sweetness%20of%20the%20sauce.%20In%20fact,%20I%20couldn't%20taste%20the%20veggies%20over%20the%20sauce,%20either.%20This%20was%20some%20seriously%20sickeningly%20sweet%20stuff.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20any%20extensive%20product%20line,%20there%20are%20bound%20to%20be%20items%20that%20fail%20to%20appeal.%20%20This%20is%20not%20a%20meal%20that%20I'd%20ever%20contemplate%20buying%20again.%20It%20was%20a%20real%20shocker%20for%20me:%20until%20now,%20I'd%20only%20ever%20had%20one%20Healthy%20Choice%20meal%20that%20I%20didn't%20like%20(that%20review%20will%20be%20up%20within%20the%20week.)%20But%20this%20was%20just%20too%20overpoweringly%20sweet%20for%20my%20tastes.%20Perhaps%20if%20the%20sauce%20is%20toned%20down%20quite%20a%20few%20notches,%20I'll%20consider%20getting%20it%20again,%20but%20not%20before%20that.%20%20If%20you've%20got%20a%20strong%20sweet%20tooth,%20though,%20you%20might%20give%20it%20a%20try.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENutrition%20Facts:%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
