Hearty Burgundy Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredientes

  • 19 ounce Chunky Stewed Tomatoes
  • 5 1/2 ounce Tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 x Onions minced
  • 4 x Crushed garlic cloves or possibly
  • 2 x Chopped garlic
  • 14 ounce Can Tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. Red wine or possibly white (optional)
  • 1 x Sweet green pepper
  • 1 tsp Dry leaf basil
  • 1/2 tsp Leaf oregano

Direcciones

  1. Heat oil in a large saucpan set over medium heat. Add in Chunky pasta-style stewed Tomatoes with Tomatoe Paste and red or possibly white wine to the sauce pan.
  2. Add in onions and garlic.
  3. Saute/fry for 2 minutes. Add in remaining ingredients. Cover and bring to a boil, stirring often. Then, reduce heat and simmer, stirring often for at least 5 minutes. Add in a healthy pinch of sugar if needed.
